Sat: Building W/SW swell, but very inconsistent due to the remote swell source. Set waves should reach 3-5ft at open beaches but there'll be lengthy periods of tiny conditions between them. Light to moderate S'ly winds freshening during the day. Keep your expectations low.
Sun: Secondary pulse of W/SW swell, but remaining extremely inconsistent, and poor in quality due to a freshening SE airstream, becoming gusty later. Wave heights should reach 4-6ft at the open beaches by the a'noon. Keep your expectations low.
Mon: Poor combination of fading W/SW groundswell and a peaky SE windswell around 4-5ft at open beaches, easing during the day. Fresh E/SE winds, may ease later. Keep your expectations low.
Tue: Average 3-4ft waves at open beaches with moderate SE winds. Keep your expectations low.
Wed: Average 2-3ft waves at open beaches with moderate SE winds. Keep your expectations low.

5 day surf forecast
Bells/Torquay: 5 Day Surf Forecast
Sat: Gusty W'ly change due early morning, although a brief period of W/NW winds are possible at dawn. Winds tending SW during the day and easing. New W/SW swell building to 3-5ft during the day, after a possible temporary lag in size at dawn.
Sun: Early sets between 3ft and 5ft, easing steadily during the day. Light variable winds (possibly N'ly) and an a'noon sea breeze.
Mon: Inconsistent, fading W/SW swell around 2-3ft, easing during the day. Winds tending S'ly behind a trough, may be variable in the morning.
Tue: Two long range W/SW swells building in size during the day. The first swell should provide inconsistent 2-3ft waves for the early surf. The second swell, due in the afternoon, should provide a late increase to 3-4ft, maybe some bigger 5ft sets at 13th Beach. Expect lengthy breaks of much smaller conditions between the sets. Moderate NE winds developing, they'll probably favour the beachbreaks over the reefs.
Wed: Inconsistent, fading long range W/SW swell. Early sets around 3-4ft, easing to 2-3ft during the day. Expect lengthy breaks of much smaller conditions between the sets. Tricky winds, due to an approaching trough, probably N'ly early then S'ly later.
Longer Term Outlook: Swell easing through Thurs, with a small long range groundswell due Fri/Sat.
